KTM Ladies' Coach

I just realized this special feature about one month ago as I started my semester break and heading back to my home in Semenyih, Selangor. For this holiday, I've been using KTM public transport for many times to go hang out with my friends. Meeting old friends during my school time will always be great and this excitement makes me ignore how many time I should wait for the train, especially ladies now are given a special privilege "Ladies' Coach". At first, I heard the announcement something like "The middle coach is only for female passengers". I started to think, will this thing work? Will man care about this? Will they abide by this new rule? But at least I know which coach I should get into by that time. I was a bit shock to see almost all men are not entering the Ladies' Coach. But of course there are at least one or two men were still standing in there and I'm pretty sure they felt weird to be there. I guess next time they'll be more careful in choosing the coach.

I heard lots of people doesn't agree with this idea. They said KTM should be more practical by solving the problem with schedule delay and trip cancellation before anything especially the idea of Ladies' Coach. I have to agree that the horrible thing that always happen is the schedule delay. Maybe I'm not using it much, but I understand how about people who are really rely on this public transport feels. Some people come out with the request so that KTM can add the coach  and more people can get into in every single trip. Less pushing for the next train. And about the issue of the unfair toward male passengers, adding coaches and dividing the coaches equally for male and female passengers can solve the problem maybe. 2 coach for males only, 2 coach for females only and another two coach for families is great! But of course it won't be that simple to change everything as it involve all the technical things or safety and so on. But changes should be done as time goes by. I don't really get into all this arguments, but the obvious thing I can feel is, this decision provides me comfortable, safe, quality journey, no psycho to do the harrasment, no romantic-touching-hugging scene (like some couples did), no breathing in ordour and no pushing. And I'm serious about this. This idea is such a great idea and I love this Ladies' Coach so much! : )
